Fliers?? Hmmm (con’t)

In my previous post I spoke of fliers sometimes telling an unintended story.  I’d like to address another bulleted item on our opponent’s flier.  It states, “Stability in Leadership, Established Working Relationships, Competent Banking/Auditing Skills & No-Nonsense Negotiators!”.

Let’s begin with “Stability in Leadership”.  In order to speak of stability, one needs to know its definitions:  firmness in position (complacency), Continuance without change (complacency), steadfastness; constancy, as of character or purpose (interestingly the sentence dictionary.com uses for this one is, “The job calls for a great deal of emotional stability.”  I have nothing to add).

Second is “Established Working Relationships”.  Though a relationship is established, it is always important to question whether or not that relationship is a good one or a bad one, stable (there’s that word again) or volatile.

Third is “Competent Banking/Auditing Skills”.  Is it competent to have an organization’s funds in excess of the FDIC insured limit of $250,000 all in one financial institution, especially as the last few months have shown banks having to shutter their operations and money being lost?  Are all accounts transparent?  Hmmm

Finally, “No-Nonsense Negotiators”.  Is there ever any room in negotiations for nonsense?  I guess I wouldn’t mention no-nonsense unless I’ve experienced nonsense.  Or maybe that’s just me.

Be part of the Change We Need.  Vote our slate on May 30th.
